The project kick-off meeting was celebrated as a virtual meeting with the participation of all the consortium members. The European Commission took part of the meeting stressing the overall project management guidelines and priorities drawn by the European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP).
The consortium demonstrated its high commitment as each partner successfully transmited their solid background in the work packages they are involed in, outlining future directions for a smooth accomplishing of the project goals. The consortium demostrated a balanced representation of important stakeholders in the defence area, such as the industry, SMEs, universities, and the Ministries of Defence (MoDs) of the involved member states.
Indra Sistemas, Airbus Cybersecurity and Leonardo will provide their large expertise and leadership in the European market to set out the industry vision in defence solutions and innovation paths the project shall benefit from. Cybertnetica, Cy4Gate, Innotec Systems and S2 Grupo conform the group of leading SMEs in the consortium, largely involved in defence and security with innovative solutions hand in hand with the maket priorities. The academia, represented by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), University of Valencia (UPV) and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) stressed excellence in research to boost the capabilities design and development tracks of the envisioned ECYSAP platform. These consortium skills shall provide the desired project outcomes with a close coordination with the participants MoDs.
